Country and folk artist Jason Isbell found out how much President Donald Trump spent to recount ballots in Wisconsin. What followed was a slew of tweets showing the random knowledge and admiration. Country music singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, in a rather humorous way, is asking Twitter to consider adding a “Year in Review” feature to its platform. Although his idea may be a little too sardonic for the platform’s taste. The original Twitter user that Jason Isbell was responding to was just voicing his political opinion, which he has a right to do, no different than Jason Isbell. But unlike Jason Isbell, the Twitter user was able to separate those political opinions from his evaluation of art—something that the Jason Isbell of 2020 appears to be completely. Isbell is an alt country/rock singer from Muscle Shoals. My wife loves him, has all his albums, and follows him on Twitter, where, I'm informed, he is a laugh riot. I don't follow Jason Isbell on Twitter and I haven't listened to much of his music, largely because the few snippets I've heard have make me shrug and want to listen to something else.
